MAG520w3: a high-performance Linux set-top box with Wi-Fi
The new MAG media players are powered by the Amlogic S905X2 chipset, which gives 25% better performance than the previous generation. MAG520w3 is equipped with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1,900 MHz that guarantees months of uninterrupted operation.

Built-in HEVC codec
With the built-in HEVC codec, the set-top box easily handles demanding 4K video even at bandwidths as low as 5 Mbps.
Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity
MAG520w3 supports both wired internet connections via Ethernet, and wireless over Wi-Fi. For wired connections, the data rate reaches 100 Mbps. The built-in dual-band Wi-Fi module (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) ramps up the transfer speed to 550 Mbps.
Dolby Digital PlusTM surround sound
The MAG520w3 media player is compatible with modern audio systems and supports 8-channel Dolby Digital Plus™ sound, totally immersing viewers into movies, TV shows, concerts, and sporting events.
USB ports for peripherals and storage
The set-top box has two USB ports. The USB 2.0 port is suitable for peripherals like a keyboard and mouse, while the USB 3.0 port is the perfect choice for memory cards and removable drives owing to its higher data rates.
