The fifth series MAG set-top boxes are powered by the Amlogic S905X2 chipset. This makes them 25% more powerful than the previous generation, and the MAG524 can operate for several months without rebooting. The set-top box offers an Ethernet connection at a speed of 100 Mbps, ensuring reliable, smooth playback.
4K and 60 fps
The device plays the most widespread content formats up to and including 4K and supports 60 fps. So, if your TV is capable of playing high-definition video, MAG524 enables you to watch crystal clear, highly detailed 4K movies.
HEVС and HDR support
The MAG524 set-top box supports the H.265 codec, allowing users to watch high-definition videos even at slow Internet speeds. Thanks to the High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode, the image offers rich contrasting colors, while viewers enjoy dark and light scenes without distortion — just like in reality.
Dolby Digital PlusTM surround sound
